handicap limos, do they exist?

handicap limos, do they exist?

Ok, so I've already tried posting on Vendors Helping Brides and they all just FM you a standard greeting to visit their websites...not very helpful in most cases.
So here is my story....
I have a cousin who is wheelchair bound. She cannot walk at all has to have help with everything. Unfortunately, at the beginning of next year the will be moving to NC. So when (and if) they come up for my wedding I'm not sure if they are flying in or driving. If htey are flying in I want to make sure they are taken care of and I'm considering getting a limo for all the OOTers to/from RH. So my question is are there limos that exist that can accomodate someone in a wheelchair? (not someone who can easily get out of the chair and into/out of a car)
It may just be alot easier to suggest they drive up so that they have their specially equipped van.
Any suggestions? Recommendations?

Sorry, I don't know of any. But maybe you can try to rent a wheelchair accessible van.

I just Googled 'rent wheelchair accessible vans long island' and found this site that rents wheelchair accessible vans! HTH! Try some more Google searches as well!

For my sister's van last year my parents rented a big Greyhound bus that was handicap accessible for my grandma. It was big - fit around 50 people and I think around $800. It had a wheelchair lift towards the back of it like city buses do. Dont know if thats too much or you dont have enough OOTers for that. Good luck

Not sure about the handicap limos but I have a cousin in a wheelchair as well and he was fine using a regular limo at a recent wedding.
