Handing out Roses to Females at Church

My friend gave roses to the mothers at the sign of peace part of mass.
do you mean on the way in? I've never heard of that, but it sounds nice, if you can afford it.

I think this is really sweet. I've heard variations of this too - a small corsage to every woman and a bout to every man.

No you hand out a rose to every female that attends your cermony

The ushers hand them out when they escort them to their seat!

I think it is a beautiful idea, and I can recall that I've seen it done before (a single rose to each female entering the church)..

But not sure we could fit it into our budget

My mother suggested it with handing roses to the st mary.
She said its an italian custom, to hand flowers out I guess my mother took her idea

Sounds very nice.

I'm giving roses to the Blessed Mother (yes your are right, it is an Italian custom) and also red roses to our Mothers.

i had my female guests at the church give sterling roses and lavender lisathus to the blessed mother and it looks really nice on video and in the pictures. the polish also do it. i think you should do it!!
