Handmade favor ideas?

Handmade favor ideas?

Hi! Anyone have ideas for favors I could make? If I was having a winter wedding, I would crochet everyone a scarf, but I think that would be silly for a summer wedding. Any other crafty types out there?

Jenna, I have a million ideas! It all depends on what you want to give out. Candles? Candy? Cake? small picture frames? Little baskets of stuff? FYI, Michael's is having a votive candle holder sale starting today!!! It's half off for 49 cents each! you can decorate that as a candle holder or put candy in it, wrap it in tulle or pretty satin bag and decorate with flowers and ribbons (BTW, ribbons are also on sale this week at Michael's). I'll post a pix of the votive holders I decorated later.
I have so much craft ideas my head is about to explode! I'm making baskets for my BMs which will include pix frames, canlde holder, vase with roses, etc, etc all decorated with lace and ribbons and clay and satin flowers!

WOW, I think I want to hire you, cutsabutton. You do have such great ideas and obviously a lot of patience. Being crafty is such a talent, I wish I was!

Cutsabutton, you're awesome! I have been racking my brain to come up with something truly original. I'm known for being a little off-beat , so probably won't go with candle holders, picture frames, etc. I'm a pretty decent painter and thought about painting everyone a tote bag, but then figured probably only the girls (and perhaps the gay guys) would like that.
