Hankies

My fiance and I would like to get the embroidered hankies for our moms, but they seem so expensive once you add all the embroidery. Has anyone found them anywhere with embroidery included, where they didn't quite break the bank?

Re: Hankies

I brought nice hankies for our moms, dads and MOH. The hankies for the moms are lace and attached at the bottom is a crystal heart and also next to it in the box is a poem about being the mom of either the bride or the groom. The hankies for our dads have a angel pin instead of a crystal heart and also have a poem attached. The one for my MOH is the same as the hankie for our moms and have a poem about being the MOH. We only paid $10 each.

Re: Hankies

I brought this in a little country store in Malverne (which is in Nassau County by Valley Stream and Franklin Square) called Once Upon A Time.

Re: Hankies

I ordered mine from here:

http://www.lil-inspirations.com/Wedding_Handkerchiefs.htm

They cost me an average of $25, with 4 lines text. I have not gotten them yet, so I can post about quality etc...in a few weeks.

Re: Hankies

There's also another site: www.weddinghankies.com that has similar hankies with special poems for different people in your life. And, if you don't want to order online, my favor lady carries these same hankies in her shop. Diana at Crystal International Gifts on Hicksville Road in Massapequa/Seaford (in the same shopping center as Island Recreational).

Good luck

Re: Hankies

I went to so many sites for my hankies! I liked the one Michele posted but there was a note that said they were moving warehouses, so orders wouldn't be placed for 6-8 weeks and I need mine by the end of Sept.
I also liked the one Claud mentioned but didn't realize the poems were only printed on a card, and not the hankie.
Then I placed my order with www.exclusivelyweddings.com - paid a lot for each, about $25-30, but they all seemed to be charging about the same price.....

Re: Hankies

I don't know if you're really tied to the pre-embroidered hankie idea -- but I found some amazing vintage hankies on eBay for less than $10. You could probably bring them someplace to get embroidered seperately if you were interested...

Re: Hankies

I actually was going to order them for my BMs and my Grandmother. I think we should order them and if don't like them we can always sent them back. The ones I orginial mentioned at Once Upon A Time were very good.
