Happy Administrative Professionals Day

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to all secretaries and administrative assistants. What does your company an/or boss did for you today?

My company gives us breakfast, a gift and usually I get flowers from the bosses.

Today so far i got A nice pocketbook, a bunch of things from Victoria Secret, a yankee candle, Godiva Chocolates, a big ballon that says GREAT JOB... and tomorrow i go out to lunch!!

I got Godiva's, a gift card from Saks and a gift certificate to the Red Door Spa and my boss is taking me out to lunch today to Vago's on 56th

Lauren: I only got flowers from my associate not my partner. He never gives me for Secretaries Day.

They give us a breakfast and my boss gave me a $50 GC to one of my favorite restaurants.

I work for 4 other people and they haven't done squat - just my VP.

Actually, they have all given me stress and aggravation today.......does that count?

My boss got us all hydrangeas...she found one for me that was the exact colors of my wedding! (I thought it was sweet).

As usual, I got un gotz -- the big fat goose egg!!!!
Every year it's the same thing, they 'pretend' it's not happening!! But the head of our dept, who is in California, manages to send us all something -- it's a really pretty desk clock.

My assistant got breakfast(agency wide) flowers and we are getting her a beauty set(lotions, bath gel, etc)
It is a nice day to sit back and say thanks for all you do

i haven't gotten anything from my boss. but i did get something from one of his direct reports. a card with a hnd written note and a box of hand dipped chocolates. so sweet.

Oh No I totally forgot about it!!! You usually see tons of reminders all the city. I havent seen anything this year.
Do you think its ok if I do something tomorrow - better late than never????
No one else appears to have done anything for their admins either.

Fran, here they call it admins WEEK.. so yes i think tomorrow is acceptable!

I just got flowers!! THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! they are orange roses and yellow lilies and greenery.. in the pitcher its an orange, lime and lemon!! its so cute!! and i can reuse the pitcher!!

I was feeling pretty bummy today because nobody said anything about it being Administrative Professionals day. I found out by accident that our supervisor wanted our execs to pitch in to buy us each a Barnes & Noble gift certificate instead of individuals buying us something. I feel much better now!
