So I went shopping today and purchased my engagement photo dress!! In the photo it shows a black top with black skirt and white design. My dress is the same except black top with white skirt and black design. Second pic is the after-party dress I like
:rant: The sad part of my day is it ***** shopping by yourself. Especially for wedding stuff. It's lonely :(. I really hate living in Ma. Secondly showed mom the after-party dress I wanted to get from aria and she got an attitude. She's all like 'what after party?' I'm like the after-party we want to have after the reception (might include an Islander game if they are playing.) It's not like she's paying for my reception or the after-party!!! I'm not asking her to buy the dress I showed her, it just for an opinion. And this is why I want no money from anyone and would rather pay for my own wedding. We agreed she'd buy my wedding dress, now I want nothing. I'll do it on my own. Lastly.....What is with all the plus size clothes!!!! Do designers realize not all big chicks love patterns. Everytime I shop its patterns galore that don't even flatter!!!! UGH. Dear Plus Size clothing designers, let's try to make more pretty stuff. :end rant:
you'll have happier moments to come with wedding stuff. Sorry your mom was a little lame about an after party.

Nice dresses...did you try Fashion Bug...I've seen some plus size dresses that were without patterns and nice

this is why I'm leaving my mom out of almost everything. She's horrible at times.
I totally know what you mean about the patterns. Before I lost my weight, I was always upset over those patterns!

The second dress is from ariadress.com. I love the 50's style. It's why I went with that first dress also. Man if I only had a pair of saddle shoes!!!!
My mother lately is out of control. She's a momzilla. First it was she wants to have my dress custom made. I said no to that. I told her I don't want money, all she does is complain about how she wants to give me money but cant afford it. We agreed that she'd do my dress and decorations but now she wants to do my favors and invites. I don't want to sound ungrateful but I know it will turn into the whole but I'm paying for it so take my suggestion deal.

Isn't that white dress so cute. If I wasnt having a fall wedding I'd totally get that as my dress
IDK if you have these store by you but try DOTS and Torrid. They both have kooler clothes for plus sizes. And the prices don;t hurt either.

Awww I feel your pain about being lonely while shopping! I am obsessed with Michael's and I practically go there 3x a week by myself...As for my mom, she is the same way...I am having an e-party in August and my dad is paying for it so I decided to go to Michael's (and use coupons of course) and buy the centerpieces...when I showed my mom the finish product she replied...why are you wasting your money and we got into a fight about it....and to top it off I only spend $100 all together on the centerpieces for 10 tables! I think i got them for a steal! but of course she brought my mood down...until FH cheered me up by saying that if it makes you happy $300 wouldn't have even been alot(and that's why I love him).

Ugh it's just so aggravating. Fh said last night 'want me to talk to her.' lol. I told him no, I'll just deal with it for now. Even with the engagement photo's she wants to know why now if we got engaged on Xmas.
$100 for 10 tables is a steal!! That's what I'm going to end up doing making my own.
