Happy and Sad all together...
Hey ladies.. some of you may have noticed i havent been on for a while...
about 2 weeks ago I posted about FHs grandma being taken to the hospital... originally we thought it was just gall stones or she just needed some fluids in her system.. well it wound up being so much worse. she had stage 4 cancer and passed away Sunday. Its been a very rough week and i really havent been able to think about the wedding.. I really couldnt even think about the fact that FH and i are getting married in almost a year.. She was a very special woman and i miss her like crazy already...
What surprised me the most and helped me to move on and start thinking about the wedding again was when we were on the way to the funeral, i was in the limo with the family and FFIL (it was his mother that passed) asked the limo driver who owns his own limo company if he has town cars that he uses for weddings. i was completly SHOCKED!!! We were on our way to bury his mother and he was wondering about our wedding.... i ws floored and honored at the same time...
Well im back and ready to continue the planning process... dealing with this shocking loss has really made me realize ( more than i knew before) that i can not wait to marry the man of my dreams and i will have the greatest inlaws in the world...
thank you for listening (or reading) ladies.. i just needed to get this off my chest
