My birthday was awful. I just wanted him there. He always made a fuss over me on my birthday! BUT I got a HUGE sign on Friday which made me smile.

I cried and cried last week saying I wanted a sign and my FH said that I've had signs and that I should be happy with those. I said I wanted a BIG one and let me tell you, I got it....

We went to pick up our laundry and we both were being silly and hopped over a puddle on our way in. I told the laundry guy to have a good weekend and we would see him next week. On our way out Chris walked right over the puddle and I was about to hop over it and was saying 'I pride myself on being so polite. My dad taught me to be polite'. As I said it and went to jump the puddle there was a fishing sinker laying there. My dad's favorite thing in the world was fishing (we have 4 boats if that's any indication!)....I am telling you that it was 100% not there when we went in or when Chris walked past the puddle...we both froze and were white as ghosts but it was the best moment ever. I'm now carrying it in my purse!

on the day of my dads funeral, for the first time ever (in the limo, following the hearse) I heard the song 'calling all angels' by train and let me tell you, although the song was never REALLY popular, every single time I go to the cemetery, I hear it, no exaggeration ... its an amazing feeling...
