thanks bonnie! That menorah is hysterical, what does he sing? It's funny because normally I don't know the answer to any jewish questions when people ask me but FH works with a lot of hardcore jews and he usually knows the answer when I relay the question to him...and he's irish catholic

lol mine is ceramic with a little dreidel man in the middle and he's holding hands with a bunch of jewish kids and each kid has a candle, it's very cute! You light the middle candle and the first candle (first slot all the way to the left) tonight, but not till after sundown.

first you light the middle candle, then u use that one to light the rest - starting at the RIGHT - then add one more each night
the candles get lit right to left, just like hebrew

lol no it turns out i've only been doing chanukah wrong since I moved out of my parents house. So two years of lighting the menorah incorrectly will not send me to hell (especially because jewish people don't belive in it!)

FH got me the first season of 'How I Met Your Mother' on DVD! I love that show but I missed a whole bunch of episodes last year. Alright! And my parents got me something really nice too, kind of a sentimental thing that's hard to explain. Anyway, Hanukkah's off to a roaring start.

good for you, i havent seen my family yet - having a chanukah party at my aunt's house at 2 today so i hope i get some goodies!!!!!!!

ok well the first few nights I already know my gifts:

- FH got me a memnership to the Gym

- Golf Clubs & Shoes w/ one golf outfit (tonights gift)

From Petey the panty chewer, A big box from Victoria Secret w/ panties to help replenish those that he chewed

I'll let you know how the rest of the nights go...


FH is so dissapointed that we can't go away my big gift is usually a trip, but since I just started w/ a company, I don't want to request time, even thoug techin. I'll be entitled after 90 days.....
