Happy New Year 06'ers....our eventful year now ends

Ladies, its hard to believe our eventful, wonderful year is coming to an end. It seems like just yesterday we were awaiting for 06 to begin and for Hollie to get married. Now we are all (I believe) married ladies and enjoying the newlywed bliss , getting adjusted to living together, enjoying our DH and some of us awaiting the arrival of a little one in 07!

As I look back on the year I have to say I couldn't have done it without you girls (you know who you are)....you were there for me when I thought I was going to lose it a week before the wedding and when I needed a shoulder to cry on and you were also there to share in the good times, drunk times and memorable times. We've seen a number of you get married and were honored to share in your special days. I hope the friendships continue as the years go by.

I just want to say to all the 06'ers a Happy and Healthy 2007, may we all enjoy our first anniversaries and may our friendships continue!!!

This message is a few days early because we're leaving for New Hampshire tonight to the B&B we go to every year.

I couldn't agree with you more. 2006 would not have been nearly the same for me had I not discovered LIW and all of the wonderful people here. The experience made my wedding planning, and all the stresses involved, bearable. I've met some wonderful friends here who I know will be around for a long, long time.

We will never forget 2006 as one of the greatest years of our lives. Now 2007 will be filled with births of babies, purchasing and decorating homes and building what will be lifelong marriages.

I will be thinking of this as the ball drops this year. Enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you all for the best year ever!!!!

I will also be thinking of all of you this new year when the ball drops. I couldnt imagine planning my wedding without you girls and I hope we all stay around and keep in touch.

It has been such a BEAUTIFUL year all around and I can only hope that 2007 will hold even a fraction of the good times that I have had in 2006.

I remember in 04 anxiously awaiting the 06 board and being so excited to post on 'our board'

I remember in 05 anxiously awaiting the new year so that I could say 'I'm getting married this year'

Now, we are married and after Sunday night we will say 'We got married last year'

So much has changed in my life but LIW has been a great place for me and I will cherish every moment spent on this site.

Thank you to all of you for being my friend,s for helping me on my quest for the most perfect wedding and for being the beautiful wonderful ladies you all are.

Happy New Year Ladies and Thank You 2006 for an AMAZING year!!!!

The wedding planning would not have been 1/2 the fun without LIW. Thank you all for all your help along the way.
I wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year and hope the friendships on LIW continue to grow.

Happy New Year's Cindy and to every '06 girl out there!! This year has been a fantasic rie, a few roller coaster bumps here and there, but in the end, it was all worth it. I couldn't agree more with what Cindy said about the friendships. If it weren't for you lovely ladies, none of my wedding planning would have been possible. I' thankful for each and every one of you and I hope that our friendships can expand years, if not decades!

Im getting very choked up reading all of these end of the year posts. I think these baords have gone way past wedding planning. We have all permeated each other lives in ways we never dreamed possible. I have forged friendships with ladies (and their DH's) that I know will stand the test of time.

Now that we are all married, I am truly looking forward to see how our families grow in love and in number. You are all great wives and you will all be great mothers some day!

Lets not allow the end of the year end our bond.

I ahd a GREAT year and loved my shower, Bach party, wedding, planning, EVERYTHING! But its over and thats that!

I completely agree! You couldn't pay me to go back to the planning stage, but it all turned out well and I've met such an amazing group of women here. I truly don't know what I would have done without all of your wisdom during the most stressful time of my life!

I find myself now at the end of 2006 more content, more thankful and more in love with my DH than ever before. I know this is all a good thing.

This has been the happiest & most frustrating year of my life thus far and it has been a honor to share this wedding planning ride with such amazing women.

While this is the case, I am also extremely glad this year is going to be over. After 12 weddings, 3 showers, 2 christenings, countless doctor appointments and numerous parties all in one year, we are freaking exhausted!!!!

I have met so many great women and have formed such phenomenal friendships that I am so happy to have. You guys have made the transition from being in Brooklyn all of my life to living out on LI a much easier one to deal with!!

I think we all have so much to look forward to that I have no doubt 2007 will be an even better year!!! I wish you all the greatest of happiness and the best of everything!!! Here's to the future!!!

I am really so glad I found this site. I think I enjoyed wedding planning more because of it. Life is what you make of it, and I can say the same for this site. Thanks again ladies...it was an honor planning with you, and I look forward to celebrating the next chapter of our libves together in 07.
