Happy New Year! And a Bittersweet Goodbye to 2010

When I joined there were just over 10 '10 brides...and I was just looking for ideas on reception halls....By the time I got married I wanted: up-lighting, personalized menus, a band for our cocktail hour,etc. You all helped us make our wedding day a beautiful and amazing day, thank you.
When I look back on planning my wedding I will always remember the crazy b!tches that helped me plan one of the most important days of my life. What with 'fake brides' dirty santas, the drinking, and all the drama came the wonderful ideas the amazing support and a group of women who just 'got it' when my friends (and my husband) did not want to hear another sentence about the wedding.
I've made some amazing friends here, and even after I am an old married hag I will never forget Long Island Weddings and the impact you've all had on this time in my life.
