Hardest decision i've ever had to make in my life!!!

Is picking a photographer.... never thought it would be this hard!!!! I want to cry!!!!

Who have you looked at? What are you looking for - traditional, photojournalistic, mix of both?

Patken does both traditional and photojournalistic shots. They will also work within your budget.

I'm torn between patken and cassarino. I like that patken INCLUDES the photojournalistic photographer. We'll see if Cassarino can give us a better deal, otherwise Patken it is!
I don't want too many posed photos... i like that patken says they have posed that LOOK like candids! (i just see that no WM brides are using patken, so i feel like id be doing something wrong LOL)

Did you see Jennbaby's proofs. They are awesome. Their is one of her standing between columns looking at the garden and her DH in the back with one leg up against the wall looking at her. It is amazing. I think it was posed, but it looks like it was candid. Their were also some of her looking at her ring and him looking at her. Its things like that, that just blew me away.

Patken has fun with their work. They do whatever you want. If you want all posed, they'll give you all posed, if you want candid they'll give you candid.

I love all their work. When it came down to photography, we wanted someone who would be funny, sweet, work with us and our needs and of course our budget and Patken was it all the way. We're bikers, our friends are bikers and drunks, we have bikers in our wedding party, we wanted a photographer who would have fun with us, the party and capture every moment. Patken is definatly the way to go.

aside from photo I think there is a difference that cassarino takes longer to get the album if that makes a difference(another patken girl here)

Photography was the hardest decision for me also, but in the end both me and my FH followed our gut, amazingly our guts agreed lol! We chose B rett M atthews.

whatever you choose make sure you pick a specific photographer..
my sister used gray studios and loved them, because of hers her friend booked them and the friend(with a different photographer) ended up with pics they hated

It is hard but you have to relax and dont stress out to much...it will be perfect. just chose one that offers many services so u can get it all done in one shot. Im getting married in Oct.2004 i went with ADA Studios in Wading river its far i know but they have many other offices like smithtown and so on. they have 7 different photographers to chose from which i thought was cool. they have great packages and they are so nice. My sister used ADA studios the pictures came out beautiful......they gave her all the proofs. plus they have those black & white photos with some color...i love the black & white photo with just the brides flowers colored. im very happy with ADA they took care of everything so im all set for my wedding. let me know how things are going. take care and try not to stress to much
