Haroula! And other girls looking for a grocery store

The Keyfood on Covert was not very crowded and quite reasonable as far as prices go.

It's not as big as Pathmark, but I got everything that I needed.

Lolol it had a decent meat department...I don't eat beef or pork (well almost never), so I'm not the best person to ask necessarily. However, they had a ton of chicken and I was able to get my ground turkey and turkey bacon.

If you go down Hempstead Turnpike west, turn right onto Covert. It's one block west of King Umbertos. (So from Franklin Ave...Franklin Ave to Hemp Tpike...turn left on the Tpike...then right on Covert). Go down maybe 2 miles I want to say? It's right past Sewanhaka high school on the left

Also on Covert is Pelligrini's Deli - they have really good stuff there - meat wise.
