harpist advice
I am looking for a harpist to play during my ceremony. I have spoken with Janet King. Does anyone have any advise or other people that I should call. She charges $400 and begins playing 15 minutes before the start time, then stays until the end of the mass. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I don't remember the exact details but I heard some of Sumar Entertainment's (in NJ) ceremony musicians. They sounded good - you may want to call them.

I am going to book Encore Music in W Hempstead on Thurs. for a classical trio. She has many musicians (i don't know for sure about a harp, but I can't see why not) and she told me they are $250 each. No matter how many you pick. And that is for 2 hours. Before ceremony, during, after and cocktail (all at same location). Her number is 516-489-4330. I got it from this board. Look at Music for ceremony section. You can also go to a local college to see if there is a harp student that will play for a good price. Good luck! :)
