Re: Harrison House
We looked there for our wedding-- They quoted us $160++ a head for a Sat night in Aprilish..
7 passed items 6 or 7 stations Appt/Salad Main Dessert
We passed on it cause we were not enthused with the guest rooms and the ballroom was sorta like two different rooms-- beautiful set up for a ceremony though in the round room.
And the grounds are beautiful-- if we were getting married in a warmer month-- we would have been more into it.

Re: Harrison House
Yeah- the Carltun and Harrison have the same kind of feel-
We are paying $175 a head ++
15 passed items 7 stations Appetizer/Salad Combo Choice of 3 mains PLUS a veggie option (for me!!) dessert-- either sampler or Viennese Table
Prices are cheaper earlier in the year- they were going to give us 165 for March, and I bet Jan/Feb would be even cheaper.. Then of course going into the warmer months, more $$$$
This is all pricing for a Sat night. And you have to guarantee a MINIMUM of 185 people. We did 210 to get the price a little lower.

You're right about the price going up in the warmer months... we were looking for June dates and Cartlun quoted us $185 a head ++

I would think the prices would be even higher in June-- that's not too bad..

Re: Harrison House
Tip for you girls- if you are interested in a place like the Harrison House, the Carlun or the Carlyle.. try booking under a year and be flexible with your date.
We booked our date within 7 months and got the Carlyle for $100++ per person which is WAY less than what they normally charge (granted it was a Friday night)... so we got the same food/service/etc for $100 for what people pay $150-175 for.
