Harrison House at Glen Cove

Ladies, has anyone used this place? I have seen some pictures, and it looks lovely. It also looks way out of my price range. Any feedback on them? prices, quality, etc? I thought I woudl check just incase ;-) thanks!!!

Re: Harrison House at Glen Cove

I think there was a thread on this subject about a week ago. You can do a search under Harrison House.

Re: Harrison House at Glen Cove

There was a thread a while back - do a search... The place is beautiful. We wanted to get married there, but couldn't guarantee their minimum of 175 for a Saturday night. We were quoted $130 a plate for May on Saturday night.

Did go to another wedding there. Very nice. Good Food, excellent dessert.

We stayed in a bridal suite the night we got married. Our wedding was nearby.

Re: Harrison House at Glen Cove

WE HAD LOOKED AT THIS PLACE FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY BACK IN MARCH..THE PLACE WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR! WE ARE A BIG ITALIAN FAMILY AND THE FOOD WAS MORE AMERICAN THAN ITALIAN! BUT THE NICE THING ABOUT IT IS THAT AFTER THE RECEPTION THEY LET YOU USE THE BAR/LOUNGE UPSTAIRS FOR A AFTER PARTY AND THERE ARE ALSO ROOMS THAT YOUR GUESTS CAN STAY THERE AS WELL! THE PRICE WE WERE QUOTED WAS 110 A PLATE FOR A SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN MARCH SO I COULD IMAGINGE WHAT IT IS FOR A WEDDING! IF THATS THE TYPE OF PLACE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR I DEFINATLY RECCOMMEND IT!!!!
