I am thinking about hiring a day of coordinator, but I don't know if it is necessary, it would definitely relieve some stress though. What are your thoughts or experiences??

I am. I was on the fence about it and am so happy I decided to have a DOC. I know it will make my day that much more enjoyable to have someone there to handle everything.

I used Tara G. from EAP and could not be happier. We had 2 face to face meetings and a lot of emails when I had a question or needed advise. She really kept things running smoothly and I think my bridal party and family, as well as my VENDORS enjoyed having a contact person who was not ME or my DH the day and week of the wedding!!

What is the general pricing on something like this? The only way I can get FH to buy into this is if it is reasonable.

I originally didn't want one, but so glad I hired a DOC. Contact Lisa at Elite Affairs. She was fantastic! I don't know what I would have done without her!

Prices can vary greatly. As low as $400 and as high as $2K. It all depends on what package you select. You can get an unlimited amount of hours for the day. With an assistant, without assistant. Attend your RD. I would definitely look into it. Post on the vendor board and start to speak with them. Also check out the reviews. They are very helpful.

I used Christine from EAP. I am so glad I decided to hire a DOC. My BA was inept so I was really glad to have Christine there. It was really helpful

I am using Ryan of Above and Beyond.
She is great and I noticed on their site that they have a recession special of $100 off if you book soon.
That is 100 less than I paid :( and her starting rate is reasonable.
