Some things that stand out in my mind are...

when i was in college a guy told me that i have this confidence that exudes such a sexual aura.. im not sure y he said that but i thought it was an unusual and nice compliment, makes me feel sexy to this day LOL

Also I was walking with my bf at the time to a club, i was all dressed up and 2 guys r walking towards us leaving the club, and 1 of the guys stops my bf and he said to my bf 'some guys have all the luck--and pointed at me'

whenever i need an ego boost i try to think of these nice and rare compliments :)

another time after my father passed away a close friend made a comment on my ability to b such a strong, genuine person and whenever I feel like giving up hope about something I use that reminder not to give up, and b that strong person every1 sees me as:)

a few people have told me that i have 'quiet confidence' and that was a great compliment to me.

i was told that i was a remarkable person (wow!) ...and this same person said they always thought of me as a mother, (not their mother, but that was the picture of me in their mind). i thought that was a great compliment. ( :

people always comment on how much i smile and how i always seem to be upbeat and positive.

in fact, when i was student teaching, i had this terrible group of 8th graders.....they wouldn't listen to a thing i said....and one say i heard one of them every now and then say a number outloud....finally, when he got up to 11, i asked what he was counting...and he said
'I'm counting how many times you smile...no matter how bad we are...you just keep smiling at us'

i thought it was the cutest thing ever!
of course, i couldn't not smile after that!!

This is by far the cutest thing I've ever heard. You are so meant to be a teacher.

One of the principals in my school gave me an angel ornament for Christmas last year and told me she bought it because she feels I am an angel that was sent to their school. How sweet is that?! It made me cry!

It's sick how natural it feels for me to be a teacher! I hate speaking in front of groups, yet I'm am 100% comfortable in front of a group of students....go figure!

That is sweet!!!!! Wow - consider yourself blessed!

Unfort I cant remember anything significant besides guys complimenting my eyes.

I sure do get fat comments constantly though!

i was told that by guys in college - but it was when they were choosing the slutty girl over me.....never made me happy

Here's one that made me feel good a few weeks ago. I was at a gas station and this cute guy was pumping my gas. When he came to the window to get the money he said, have a nice day and be careful, you're dangerous. I said, dangerous, and he said dangerously beautiful!! More of a pick up line, but it made me feel good!!

I like that!

A HS English teacher called me a quiet rebel, ( while likening me to Antigone, but I've never dug up a body. . . )once & I don't know how much of a compliment that was meant to be, but I took it as one.

And I think a French teacher told me I had a beautiful (speaking)voice, but the compliment was in French, so I was never positive, since no one else ever said it again.

And my old roomate always tells me I was the favorite of her 11 roomates so far!

I really appreciate that one.

And my silly one is that she also told me I always have the best party food!

My FMIL has said the same thing. She has bewn a teacher for years!
