I got a phone call yesterday from a man who said he was with Brides magazine and he explained that we were 'one of 5 lucky couples' to win a $450.00 discount on our flowers and photographer. All we had to do was come down to Wedding World in Hauppauge and meet with them. I was very suspicious and I told him I wasn't ready to book with anybody yet. Does anybody know if this was some sort of scam or if it was legit?? It sounded fishy to me. Maybe I gave up a good thing, but I don't trust anybody!!!

Re: Has anybody ever heard of Wedding World?
I just spoke to someone who is using Wedding World, and she seems to like them. I don't know if it a scam or not, but she seems to be happy with them so far. I think it is just like the Wedding Center in Commack. h

I went there a while ago when I first got engaged. The people there were not helpful AT ALL. I had a much better experience at the Commack Wedding Center...if you can believe that

I did not like the wedding world at all. I hated them. They are only trying to get you in there to get your business.

Re: Has anybody ever heard of Wedding World?
My brother and SIL are having the worst time getting their wedding album from Wedding World. They had to send pictures back on a few occasions to fix SIL's red eye and none of the albums are ready. My mom has been on the phone with some guy named Bob quite a few times and he has given her so many excuses. From what my brother said, some things were nice, but they were not worth the aggravation just for a good price.

Thanks for your feedback. I figured they might be a shady company considering that they called me at 8:45pm on a Sunday to lure me into making an appointment. I'm glad I didn't give in and make an appointment!!
