Has anybody heard anything about Wedding World

I got my dress in Wedding World about two weeks ago. The dresses are extremely affordable. (Many dresses for less than $799) They give you $100 off on your dress so if the tag says $799 they charge you $699 etc. My dress is a Maggie Sottero dress. I worked with Amelia. She was very nice and I didn't feel pressured. The dress will take 2-4 months to come in. They have a cap on the alterations at $225. (that doesn't include the bustle-extra $99, but only if you have a train and need a bustle-i did) This is my dress below. They charge a $50 shipping fee so take that into account. I hope that helps. I went there and I wasn't happy with the service.

ETS: I was looking there for the package...not dresses.

For dresses or for a package? My best friend got her wedding gown there and we got our BM gowns for her wedding there and they were nice. My brother used a package from them and hated his photographer who was a MORON. He was arrogant and made stupid comments and forgot that the groom had a sister (me) and was ready to pack up and go to the reception hall when someone reminded him that I existed.

Dresses yes, package no

Funny thing, though: family friends, a brother and sister used them and loved them and their photographer. My brother went to request the same photographer and they told him it was too early, when he went back when they suggested, the guy was booked and he got stuck with the moron. The florist also stood up my SIL when she had appts. TWICE!

If you like what they have to offer, ask to meet some of the vendors involved in the package (DJ, florist, photographer).

Some people have great experiences others have bad ones. Some people nit pick until they find something wrong and others don't care as much. See for yourself
