The bouquet with a little picture. My father pass away and I wanted to put his picture there. So when I walk down the aisle with my grandfather I have my father too walking me down.

I made mine with little metal frames that you use for scrapbooking and ribbon and decorated the inside with floral paper and the perimeter of the frame I decorated with little flowers that you also would use for scrapbooking. It was easy. I would post the picture but I lost my adapter for my camera.

I was going to show you the pic I have of Molly Shannon's bouquet but someone beat me to it! It must be floating around! I think I have it in my community album!
That's what I plan on doing with my dad's pics.

That's a really nice idea...and gave me an idea. My FH was really close with his grandmothers and both passed away in the last 2 years...maybe I can find a small locket of sorts for him to carry with their pictures.

What a lovely idea. I wish I had seen this in time for my wedding. I had thought about attaching my dad's wedding ring to my bouquet, but I couldn't get it to look right and I was afraid of losing it.

I think that is an amazing idea and I know that both of our Fathers are going to be there with us that day
My Father passed away 9 years ago.
Sweetie, I know that it is easier said then done, but you have to think that things happen for a reason and to be honest it is the only way I get through the pain. You have to look in the mirror every day and say how lucky you are for the things you do have and that your FH is now your rock to lean on. That void will probably never be filled, but I can promise you this, your Father is watching over you.
My father passed away 20 years. I was 8 years old but thank God I still have memories. I can still hear is laugh.
