Has anybody used American Express Travel to plan their honeymoon?

Does anybody know if it's cheaper to plan your honeymoon yourself? Do travel agents get you the best deals or what? I've never used one before.

I found that it was much easier to go to a travel agent. Since we had a few places we were going to (no direct flights to any one place) we found it to be harder to plan ourselves. I think using a travel agent may be a little more pricey, but to me, is well worth it.

For business travel at my company we use american express travel. They are always professional and of great help. I have never encountered any problems using them.

However, when I called them for our honeymoon the rate they gave me was far more than I got from other places.

Other than that I would of used them.
