instead of bubbles and petals? I want to make them and use them after my cermony but I am not sure how it will look in pics.

I am going to be making them for my wedding, as well. I think they will look great- but I am going to make the ribbon a bit longer than I have seen in some other pics

One of my best friends spent like 6 hours one night making ribbon wands for her wedding, and even though the moment only lasted for like 30 seconds she swears it was worth it cause the pictures of it are amazing!

We found packs of 50 12' long dowels at Michael's. We spray painted those silver, then screwed small metal eyes in the top of the dowel.
I chose a few colors of thin ribbon, cut the ribbons to the length of my arm, and tied a few strands through the eye (like 3 ribbons each, which get doubled as they are tied)

I just found this thread on LIW with pics. I think they look great!
I've seen them at weddings...it seems like something is missing.....we all didn't know when to start waving...but its a new and growing trend so it might pick up where your guests finally understand!

i was also thinking of using them ...they look really cool in pictures and its better than making a mess with flower pedals
