Has anyone.....

Has anyone gone with their dad to the bridal salon. My dad and I are really close and I would love to take him, but I'm not sure that's okay. My mom alreadys went with me, and made a comment of my dad feeling left out? I feel so bad. Please help!

ohhh, i think that would be sweet. Initially my dad wanted to see my dress too, but now he's decided he'd rather be surprised!

When I brought my dress home, my dad wanted to see it. I told him he had to wait until the wedding day...he was ok with that and he's excited. The dress is in their house...but I know he won't look!

I've seen a lot of dads at Bridal Salons! If you are that close to him its ok to ask him to come along!
I am close to my dad too and I wanted him to wait until the wedding day to see me! It was great because he started to cry when he finally did.

I didn't bring him shopping with me but I did bring him the day I bought the dress so he could see me in it - he was SOOOOOO happy.

I figured it was the least I could do since he was buying it for me! It really made him happy to get to see it and made him feel part of the whole planning

My dad came with me. It was incredible and he couldn't stop crying. Everyone wanted to pinch his cheeks he was so cute.

I think it is fine to bring your dad. I didn't b/c he only wants to see me in it the day of the wedding. a surprise

Take him with u. Not to make anyone sad but my dad is no longer with me and I would have loved to have his opinion on my dress.

I agree! I have seen a ton of dad's at Bridal Salons. I am in the same boat as Alixgirl. I know if my dad was here, I would take him with me for the final round ; )

Unfortunately he lives in another state and theres my whole step mother thing..

Definitely take him. His opinion actually meant more to me than anyone else. Since he knows nothing about fashion, I felt that it was truly sincere. He was also paying for it!!!
