Been invited to a wedding that did not happen? My friend in Florida just told me that she was invited to a wedding of a friend of hers last week, went out and got a dress for it and then went to the catering hall. They were told there that the wedding was not being held because the bride and groom did not pay off the balance...and they were not alone.....there were other people the bride and groom never told..... I still cannot believe it.
My friend does not want to call the girl because she is sure she is embarrassed but she should of let them know...
So my question is has this ever happened to any of you gals? For any reason (break-up, money, etc)

They must of known for at least a week that they could not afford the hall...i just don't understand why they would let their friends go there all dressed up???!!!!
