has anyone ...
... actually seen a final product (video or dvd) from bellarino or wild rose? i know a lot of you have mentioned that you *booked* them, but what about seeing the whole process through?i really want to book a videographer asap (i
havent 'checked' anything off my list in a while!) and i dont feel like visiting 15 videographers.
(my first appt is with bellarino on thurs.)
ALSO, what do you all know about the LIGHTS videographers use? do they all have a light on top of the camera, or do some manage without? i hate seeing a bright, blaring light obtruding it's way through a couple's first dance!
thanks for any input!!

Re: has anyone ...
Michele, when you go in to meet with videographers they will show you finished products. My wedding isn't until next year, so I don't have MY video yet, but I spent over an hour and a half with Bill and Marie from Wild Rose looking at videos of other weddings. While every vendor is going to show your their best work, I have to say that Bill and Marie were prepared to show you anything. I remember asking a few questions that prompted them to pull out a video they were clearly not going to show us, to help answer my questions. I can't even tell you how many weddings I saw bits and pieces of that dayI see that you are meeting with Bellarino this week. Just make sure the answers to your questions are visual. I know that WR does not use those big enormous lights and, while I never met with them, I think other posts have referred to Bellarino also not using those lights.
I hope this was helpful. I am a part of the WR Family, so I recommend Bill and Marie
Good luck!

Re: has anyone ...
I second everything Becky just said about WR. I was very impressed by their videos, and I saw quite a few finished products, that were just pulled out b/c of our questions. When I left them, without a doubt I knew they will do a good job.
I guess you have to ask the right questions, and go with your gut.
I would also love to know if anyone has a finished product, out of curiosity, but honestly, I am not worried at all.

Re: has anyone ...
did you post this on the Newlywed Board, they would be the best to ask for finished products.

Re: has anyone ...
that's a good suggestion, lizlen - thanks.when i said 'finished product' i meant someone who actually got their OWN wedding back, not one they show you in the sales picth. i thought maybe some of you had friends or relatives that have ...
also, im really concerned about this lighting issue! any feedback?
thanks
