...had horrific skin and hair while pregnant?? My face is an oil slick and my straight hair is curling, but greasy and flat.

I didnt have a problem with my hair but I remember my face breaking out SO badly that makeup even made it look worse, and I also remember getting small rashes all over my legs..
I'm sure everyone goes through something..

In my first trimester, every time one pimple subsided, there was another somewhere else. But then the rest of my pregnancy, my skin was beautiful. I don't remember anything different with my hair. HTH

I thought for sure my face would be all broken out, since I always had problems with it, but it really hasn't, which is amazing to me. It's my stomach that has these little prickly heat looking things on it and you all know about my itchy boob!! And my back is breaking out!!! It seems that my skin is being affected everywhere else, but my face!!!! And my ears are so itchy, I'm ready to rip them off my head.
As for my hair, it's growing more wild then ever before -- getting curlier in the back and flatter on top -- go figure! Plus, it's a big mop. I just got it cut A LOT on Sat, and everyone at work said to me 'Deb, it's time for a haircut!'
Have you noticed your nails growing more? Mine were really long and of course 3 days before a party, they all broke!!!
Isn't it wonderful what we go through, not just with pregnancy, but being a woman in general?!

This is something that I expected to happen during pregnancy, but never did. My hair and skin stayed mostly the same, occasionally I get a pimple, but I have very dry skin. My nails are still kinda weak, but grow very quickly, although they still break. Blame it all on the wacky hormones!

Hair is growing alot, so I just got a real hair cut...now I think it's too short!!!
My face is okay. One pimple once in a blue moon.
Nails: I have to say the vitamins have helped with my nails. I love them! Even though after baby comes, the manicures and pedicures will be less and less.......

my friend had the same problem with her skin. We told her she was having a girl, because they say that the girls **** the beauty out of you. You will still look BEAUTIFUL Jenn

That's the myth.....if these things happen to you that usually meansa you're having a girl. If nothing really changes w/skin/hair/looks, it's usually a boy!!!!

Hair is fine, skin is a bit dry in some spots and I have some min-breakout issues but I cannot really complain about it. I have read that getting a good facial can really help.

This is so scary b/c I have heard of people who had the best skin, best nails, best hair during this time, now reading all these, I am now worried I am going to look like a hot mess

Share away!!! At least we're all going through the same stuff at the same time!! But I seem to be the only one with the itchy boob problem!! Which was eczema -- I ask ya, who the **** gets eczema on their boob (and only one) but yours truly??!!!
