thought about making their own centerpieces? If so...what are you using for inspiration?

Re: Has anyone....
jsut look around online. I am probably doing my own. I have a beach-y theme and i might be doing three different height glasses with sand andseashells at the bottom and a candle in it - or something similar....if you know what you want, or a certain theme - start googling things... or jsut try 'wedding centerpieces' or non floral centerpieces.

I'm glad to hear that some people are actually doing their own. I thought I was the only one! If you're making your own how do you plan on getting them to the RH?

Re: Has anyone....
thats where my DOC comes in lol but honestly - you can drop them off to your RH a few days before, or week before, and they will normally set them up for you the day of. my friend did square glass with beach grass and sand and seashells. she had ot tote them all the way to gurneys in montauk lol - she had them in shallow cardboard boxes in her trunk and her back seat.

Re: Has anyone....
Probably just putting them in boxes all set up and using my mom's SUV to bring them to the hall when I drop off the favors. My cousin did hurricane vases with shells and sand as centerpieces for her wedding and they were so cute. Her wedding was upstate and her sister made the centerpieces on LI and drove them up and they looked great

I'd luvvvvv too! since I luv to do arts and crafts but since I'll be under such a pressure for the wedding, I'm not sure if I'd feel as creative on those last days

Re: Has anyone....
I'm doing it all on my own. Using vintage canisters and mason jars with wildflowers, wheat stalks and candles (in separate ones from the florals of course!).
