Has anyone been in a wedding where the people don't get along??
I'm in my friends wedding and the two maids of honor basically hate eachother! They are both her SIL, married to her brothers. I have to play neutral middle man because they both bad mouth the other to me! One is constantly trying to get me to do what I feel she should do with the other maid of honor, asking me to help pick favors and invites and I'm not sure if she asked the other maid of honor, I don't want to get in the middle what should I do?

i would talk to the bride first. see what she says to do. not with picking the favors or whatever but what she wants you to do in regaurds to communication. i'm sure she knows how they feel about eachother.
i dont know how to really help the situation, but if you just relay stuff to the other MOH then maybe your life will be a little easier. that way they dont hafta talk, and you arent going behind the other moh's back or anything. and you're all involved in planning.

oh! i also wanted to say that i'm sorry you're dealing with this and stuck in the middle but at least it's not a 'forever' deal and the wedding will eventually be over.

That is a tricky situation. I would just tell each of them that you do not want be caught in the middle of their animocity toward each other. It is not fair to you and puts you in an awkward situation. They have to suck up their feelings toward each other and work together. This occasion is not about them.

Not a nice situation to be in... I would firstly tell the bride what is going on and then next time one tells you something about the other say I don't want to be involved in anything and keep my distances from both of them. IMO they shouldn't be in the BP at all...

Just try to avoid any conversation involving the other. Because it might come a time in the day when one decides to go back to the other and say that YOU said something mean. And then the situation gets worse. Regardless of how much you try to talk to them, it won't change things in the end. They have to work these things out themselves.

Thanks ladies, it really is a sucky situation. She picked both of them to not cause any problems, but that didn't work!
