Has Anyone been to

The bridal showrooms located at 1385/1375 Broadway in Manhattan? If so how was it? I think I'm going there next Friday. Thanks!

Its the first place I went and i was pretty disappointed. I dont know what I expected but my experience was small overcrowded shop, closed shops, shops with hideous dresses, dress salespeople acting like used car sales people.

I think its a matter of luck when you go, because some shops were closed the Saturday I went, so maybe those are the good ones.

I went on an evening during the week when I was wasting time to meet a friend. Not many were open and those that I did find, I wasn't very happy with. One of the places I visited, I don't know if it was just b/c it was the model hanging that could have been abused or what but I could see the stitching and when I stretched the material the thread was opening. The quality of the material was not up-to-par. I don't remember the name of the place I experienced this with or what number they were on the floor but this was just one experience.

But one place I walked into I actually tried on a dress and liked it, but didn't love it. The quality was really good. I guess it depends on the place you go to. I was very overwhelmed in the building and I wouldn't go back to that building b/c of that. I am just very impatient and sort of ansy when I am in a small place after a certain amount of time.
