Has anyone been to a really good B and B on the North Fork?

Looking for a possible weekend out in the vineyards on the North Fork.. any help is always appreciated.

I don't know of any good B & B's, but you should look into The Greenporter hotel & spa, it's relatively new, on the North Fork, & close to the wineries. I haven't been there myself, but it's sounds nice!

I'm on Yahoo doing the search.. and there's a bunch out there. It's just hard to tell what is good and what's REALLY good from a few pictures and a couple of testimonials.. LOL

It's always good to hear.. 'I was there and it was great!..' (or maybe not so good in order to avoid it).. Whatever the case.. me and the FW are just lloking to get out of NYC for a few days. Thanks for the post!

There's a quaint one in Greenport - Lion something...or something Lion.

(Side note: The owner actually banned me from the place - let's call it a 'too much wine and lobster incident' and leave it at that. )

I stayed at a B & B in east Hampton a few weeks ago -- it wa BEAUTIFUL! Its called the Millhouse Inn.

My Mom loves The Panoramic View. She stays there quite often. I've never been there, but I hear it's nice.

Actually, I don't think it is a dump anymore. I saw it several times being profiled on television over the summer. I think it's more of a boutique-style hotel now w/ a restaurant & spa.
