Has anyone been to the Bellport Country Club for a wedding? How about Southward Ho CC?

I haven't been there for a wedding but I went there to look at it when I was trying to pick a reception place. I really loved it - thought it was really beautiful. It reminds me of a southern estate.

I don't know about the food but the people who own it own the Irish Coffee Pub and i hear that it has great food.

I went to a shower there last year. It was very pretty. I can't remember the food...but the punch was very good...

My FI manages the bar at Southward Ho, so I am a little biased. I have to say, though, that I have worked a few weddings there. They really do a class job. The place is beautiful, the food there is incredible. The chef used to cook for the prez, many years ago. They are a bit pricey though, we couldn't afford it even with a break. Besides, FI felt a little uncomfortable having coworkers serve him.

Hi! I just came home from a wedding at the Bellport Country Club today! It was very nice. The ceremony and cocktail hour were outside overlooking the golf course. Everyone commented on how pretty it looked. The ballroom is set up nicely, and has a really beautiful crystal chandelier. The food was really good, too. Good luck!
