Is it completely insane there??? I'm trying to figure out if I should avoid the place or just go for it...

I have to go on Sunday to pick out my headpiece, and I wanted to try the sample of my gown on with a few veil lengths, with any luck they won't sell the gown before I get there!!

I bought my dress there. What I suggest is for you to make the earliest appointment available for that day. I did that and got there early and was the only bride for the first 20 minutes, big difference because I ended up being there for over 2 hrs. by the time I left after purchasng my gown, it was very very crowded and there was a trunk sale going on that day.

Good luck!!!!

Insane doesn't even begin to describe it!! I went with my girlfriend last year for her wedding gown. The place was absolute madness. Also - they stick to an EXTREMEMLY strict 1-hour appointment. At the end of that hour, you could be half-dressed, you're still outta there!!!

That being said - my girlfriend loved all the energy of the place (I found it maddening).

If you can handle the crowd and the mayhem, then enjoy!!!

Thanks ladies!

Hopefully, it won't be too much madness for me, seeing as I just want my sample to try on and not buy. I am just going for my headpiece. Would be cool if I can get a headpiece on sample though!

I would make it clear to them that you're not there for the sample sale dresses and that you're there to try on a specific dress because during the sample sale all I saw were the sample sale dresses on the racks. So they may move the regular sample dresses elsewhere during this sale.
