I don't know where that is? but my friend's friend went to vet school in ST Kitts...I can ask her any questions if you want...

A very good friend of ours LOVES LOVES LOVES it there...I'm almost positive she stays at The Four Seaons Hotel, but I'll double check.

She goes there ALL THE TIME, and is encouraging us to go.

It looks beautiful there. They compare the beaches to the beaches of the French Polynesian! I would love any info that either of you could send my way......

FH's boss got married there at the Four Seasons Resort last year. I'm sure it must be very beautiful as he always goes and stays at the top places.

Never been, but it's on my list!

We did some research for our honeymoon-our travel agent recommended The 4 Seasons and Nisbet Plantation. Both look incredibly beautiful.

We went to Nevis for vacation this summer. We stayed at the Four Seasons. The hotel, property and beach were beautiful. There is not really anything to do outside of the resort. If you have any questions, let me know.

We have friend that's from Nevis. A few years ago I had the pleasure of attending a party thrown in honor of their independence. I met the ambassodor or president of Nevis. I dont know excatly what his title is.
But him as well as his family were very very sweet.
I'm sure it's a beautiful place.

We may be going in January - we would stay at the Four Seasons - it is supposed to be incredible!

Thanks everyone!

I was wondering about their hurricane history...if they're in the belt, when the last hit, how often, etc. We are loosely considering Nevis for our HM and our dates are right in the hurricane season.

Hmmm...nothing to do outside of the hotel. That could be a bummer...I like to be active when I go away.

Anyone hear of the Montpelier Plantation?

Nevis is in the hurricane belt. You can't really predict if/when a hurricane will hit-even by looking at past storms.

In the Carib, the further south (below 15th parallel) the less likely a hurricane will hit. Or, you can go to the ABC islands.

I've travelled to Caribbean several times during hurricane season, never a problem. Take a look into buying travel insurance and check the policy thoroughly for compensation for weather related issues.

We didn't consider Montpelier because it's not on a beach-you need to take a shuttle to it. My TA recommended it highly-it's built up in the bluffs-beautiful gardens, breezes keep mosquitos away, world class all the way. I'm a beach bum and being on or very close to the beach is very important to me.
