well are you looking for a very quiet, relaxed and secluded honeymoon? if so then turks and caicos is perfect for that, otherwise look into another place...theres not much to do there, well there are water activities but other than that not alot, and everything closes around 9pm...the beaches are gorgeous though.

I would do an ALL couples resort which would be the Antigua resort Butt if your OK with kids running around and being a joy kill on your honeymoon Turks is JUST as nice of an island.
Both offer same-as well as the white sand beaches...so i can see where the decision is tough...but
it's a honeymoon not a romper room, so that's they only thing that makes it different

I just noticed the whole 'family resort thing' while I was looking at their website..hmmm any other places that offer all inclusive packages that you recommend??
I went to Turks in my single days and it was FABULOUS!! We stayed at Club Med (I don't recommend it) but ended up having a BLAST. The water is gorgeous, the snorkeling tours are amazing... you'll have a great time there

well, Sandals does offer the best 'Honeymoon' feel being that it's ULTRA all inclusive...any Sandals is the same cookie cutter type resort just placed on different Islands...i think Mexico has AMAZING resorts too no commercial chain like Sandals but great all inclusives...what are you and FH looking for?

We're not sure really. Originally we were going to Italy, however we both cant get enough time off work to go and really get to do what we want. So then we decided on an all inclusive resort on a island. I just kinda looked online and asked around to people who have been all around the carribean and what they recommended. We've only been to the DR, so I dont even know what else is out there
FH and I had a cruise that stopped in Antigua. I would make sure if you select Antigua that you pick a resort with lots to do because a lot of the island is very poor and there isn't much to do.
how about aruba, theres alot more to do there...but this depends on if you want a really quiet relaxed honeymoon or an island with alot of things to do?

ill just say that i had wanted to go to turks and caicos for YEARS and was a little disappointed...the beach was gorgeous dont get me wrong, but we were in grand turk and driving through the island most of it was under developed, all we saw were cranes and things being constructed...They opened up a small area with shops and they have a maragaritaville which is ALOT of fun but they built this bc cruises now stop in turks & caicos

I think we would both like an island where they offer water sports, excursions, have a nice night life etc. But also that give us an option for some down time, not like insanely over crowded and that have a nice spa where we both can really relax and enjoy ourselves.
Oh and no kids lol
