Just wondering how the weather is...I'm afraid of having a hurricane!
I've been there. I would say that most hurrincanes occur around the end of August to the beginning of September. Try weather.com and see if it will give you info. Good luck.
I was there the first week of August last year. It was VERY hot and we got monsoon-like rain one day, but no hurricanes.
we have been to Mexico in August it was very hot and humid, no hurricane some tropical rain (but when we left few days later they actually had a hurricane go through Cancun)
We went to DR for Labor Day week 2 years ago and we had no problem with the weather. I think it rained once or twice, but only around dinner time. We found the same thing when we went to Jamaica this past September.
