I went there a few years ago with a couple of girlfriends. We had a good time except it rained almost evryday which s ucked!

is there enough nightlife? what time does everything close up?

i LOVEEE Virgina Beach!!!

We went there for the past two summers and had a great time.

Theres about 15 blocks of random things to do, I'd say prob about 15-20 bars/restuarants along the strip and maybe 2 clubby type places. You see everyone pretty much jumping from place to place all nite. At nite theres pretty much that, an arcade, a few scary houses, fun houses and street proformers on every corner. I'd say the streets stay packed til about 2-3AM.

During the day theres of course the beach, dolphin cruises, parasailing, rocket boat, an aquarium.. i think thats about it..if you need any more info feel free to ask

Last summer we stopped by Ocean City on the way home for about an hour..and it def looks pretty similar..but I didn't stay there long enough to really compare...honestly, they are prob really similar..so if you didn't want to take that long of a ride, Ocean City would prob be just as much fun..unless your looking to do somethin new!

i actually found a really good deal on hotwire for airfare and hotel in VA beach so i'd just take a plane hehehee
