That their shoulder need to be covered in church? we went for our initial interview at the church today and they said the shoulders need to be covered. But, not just for me, but the girls too. Does that really matter??

My church didn't mention this to me...but I have heard about this. I think it depends on the church. I'm not sure if churches are really strict about it though...I mean...are they really going to turn you away on your wedding day if you don't have a shawl??
eta: Maybe post the church you are getting married in and past brides can let you know if the church is strict about having your shoulders covered. Another idea is to look at reviews/photos of brides who got married at your church to see if their shoulders are covered. HTH!

I know I was thinking the same thing. I'm not gonna wear a coat and look stupid in my pics just to please the church. They can deal with it for the 30 min I'll be in there

I might have to have the girls wear shawls in the church. not sure yet though. if i d o it will be something very sheer
