Has anyone booked a hotel through Expedia?

I'm about to book a room through them for the first time and was wondering if anyone has used their service before...

If so, how was your room? Did you end up staying in the basement? Other than their *no cancellation* policy, are there any drawbacks?? Any hidden fees I'm missing??

I've booked through expedia lots of times and the hotel rooms I've ended up with have all been great. No worries - I would totally book with them anytime.

I booked my honeymoon through Expedia. We stayed at the Wyndham and they even upgraded our room when we got there. No problems.

I book everything through expedia. I just got back from San Francisco and had book my flight and rental car through them - Everything was great.

same here...I have booked hotels, and airfare through them...no problem

I'be booked through them often. No problems - great hotels and nice rooms. In fact, I need to go find a room in Rome...
