Has anyone booked their....

photographer yet??? Is it too early?? I want to be sure I get who I want !! If you have booked, who have you chosen??

I was thinking of making appointments with

Duet
Perceptions
12th Night
Verdi

Has anyone heard pos or negs about these companies??

havent really started looking into photographers yet. I have heard alot of the girls talking about duet and 12th nite on the other boards. Never heard of the other two. I would just do a search.

Its never too early to book....especially if you know who you want. Most will let you put a small deposit down just to hold the date and then when your wedding gets closer you then pick the package you want.

We are going with Duet so im a bit biased

However., I have heard great things about all of those above.

Hi!
Yes, i booked my photographer already. I am using Patken, highly reccommended by FSIL and other friends. When i called to see if they had the date open, they already had 3 weddings booked, and that was almost 2 months ago!

No, I know someone that is getting married next month and I want to check out her pictures first. I also don't think I'll start that until 2008. I guess it's not too early though especially if you want your engagement photos!

We booked the Lavendar Bridal Studio - Michael is amazing - He gave us a free engagment shoot - and all his work is BEAUTIFUl! I really recommend him! Most of all he's willing to work with your budget.

I haven't booked yet! But, i did check out 12th Night and I liked what I saw. I have an appt with Duet in 2wks. So far, I have checked out

Patken

It's hard to decide. Also, Angelica Glass (awesome) Some brides on the board have used her for day after shots.

OMG I heard Patkin stinks and not to use them!

My sister and I are both using Grey Dog Photography, their prices are great and they're very cool people to work with. Their photos arent the usual boring stuff. I'm excited!

Oh No!! What did you hear about Patken?

I know 2 people and also my FSIL just used them and they were great! She had her proofs in 2 weeks and when she made changes to her album, they were very careful to be sure to let her look them over each time. I thought that was good...

We booked everything but the florist so no it is not to early to book the photographer. We are happy with everyone we went with.

I don't mean to crash your board. But I wouldn't put too much bearing on someone who only has one post.

I am not using patken but 3 of my good friends used them and they were great. Every single photog. will have at least one negative comment. Go with your gut and forget about what other people say.
