Has anyone bought their dresses in one store...

I was thinking about doing this with my BM dresses but i think it will cost a lot of $$$$
also i feel like it is too much movement for comfort

THe Wedding Salon of Manhasset said they will give a 20% discount if you dont do the alterations tehre and a 15% discount if you do the alterations there - PLUS - alterations are $75 - - SO - i'm trying to save some money for the girls - since the dress i want is over $300

i know i don't understand that... 20% id you don't get alterations there.. it is liek you are doing them a favor by not getting alterations done by them.... and 15% if you do

i was thinking af getting them from there also but everyone keeps telling me alterations will be way more expensive

when i was in the wedding salon... a BM had the dress on we want in one material... i asked the lady if we could get them in taffeta and she said she doesn't think so ...... but they come in 4 different materials ...it is on the Vera Wang website
i thought that was a little weird so i was going to try and stay away from there

if you find a place let me know.. and i will do the same

We are between two amsale dresses - one is this one - and the other i cant find a pic for - its a strapless a-line dress
