I was perusing the veils today and I was considering purchasing one. Just wondering if anyone has had a positive or negative experience with buying a veil off of e-bay?

Yes. I bought my veil off of ebay from the seller Honeymoonseve and it was most definately a positive experience. She was a reputable seller, very friendly, and when I received the veil, it was absolutely perfect and I got it for an unbeatable price!

I just bought it this weekend, i waiting for it to be shipped. I spend less than 30 dollars for a bridal illusion cathedral veil. Everytime that you but something on Ebay, just make sure to check the sellers feedback. If it's 90% and up, then they are reputable.

Green hydrangea, white roses, and I don't know what those pink guys are. You could always post it on vendors helping brides and ask them to describe the flowers. I've done that before!

I bought a 2 tier, ivory finger tip length, pencil edge veil from veilsnmore and it was perfect--not even wrinkled! (and at a very good price!)

Re: Has anyone bought their veil off of e-bay?
I unfortunetly had a negative experience with ebay 3 times. We are eloping in Vegas this June and I needed a gown right away. So a few girls had suggested ebay because they had positive dealings(I've bought plenty of things off of ebay and never had a problem)nothing like this though. So anyhow, I ordered the dress, which came in looking better than the picture until I put it on and realized that there was a big imperfection in the fabric on the front of the gown, however I notified them right away and returned it today, they are sending me a new gown hopefully. While looking for the gown I found a beautiful picture of a tiara which I purchased and when it got here looked like something for a kids halloween costume and was broken and the arm that held the comb was soldered on wrong so it didnt even sit on my head it sat off to the side, that went back today too for a refund because obviously the pic was not the quality of what I got, then the veil, well it was supposed to be a two-tiered veil with rhinestones, when it arrived the rhinestones were stuck to the inside of the package and I literally had trouble getting it out of the package. The veil wasnt wrapped in anything just sent in a postal bag. The rhinestones were those self adhesive rhinestones you buy in the craftstore so they what was left on the veil were sticking to the rest of the veil and wouldnt come apart and the tulle was a real cheap tulle. I didnt send it back because I wasnt paying for shipping on such garbage. Im definetly not saying dont use ebay just be very careful all three of these vendors had numerous positive reviews as well as many items sold however, that didnt seem to help me. Good Luck and I hope you have the same experiences as others on the boards and not mine. That'll just teach me to buy what I can see and touch

Sure. The gown shop was the most helpful. Wasnt very happy with the other two and hoping ot get my money refunded as promised for the tiara. Sometimes you just get what you pay for and I guess Im the one who happened to find those, especially the veil. Even had words with the woman through email when I told her how disappointed I was and what happened when I opened the package. Claimed I was rude and nasty because I was unhappy and were did i get off since alot of hard work goes into every veil she makes(yeah okay, I would've been better off going to Michaels and making it myself). When I explained to her that I thought I was being nice enough to come to her rather than post it through her feedback the emails stopped coming

I did! I bought it over the weekend for $20!!!!!!! (and that includes shipping)
I'm not sure if I'll be wearing a veil, but I want to play around with it at home and bring it with me for my hair trial.
can't beat $20!

Yup. I bought a chiffon veil on Ebay and LOVED it. Here's a pic of it... only cost about $35!
Last week I bought a $6 1 tier fingertip to bring with me to the hair trial. I am ordering a silk tulle for the wedding and don't have it yet. Seller was great and veil was perfect.
