Has anyone done a major kitchen re- do project?

Within the next month or two we are getting ready to start re-doing our kitchen. We are going to get new appliances, new counter tops , new cabinets, new floors, knock some walls down, build some new walls up ect. Has anyone done this recently?
Also I am looking for all sorts of kitchen ideas, so if you could should your kitchen that would be wonderful and most greatly appreciated.

They (contractors) just started working on our on Monday. When finished, if this thread is still here, I will post pics. Everything was bought in Consumers and we ordered granite countertops.
ETA: Appliaces were bought in PC Richards..We went with stainless steel.

hi yes i just recently re did my entire house lol and the kitchen was included. i am also a kitchen designer so any help i can give you just let me know, what kind of space do you have? what is the most important to you in a kitchen? think about if you need a design that has more counterspace or a design with more storage space. thats the key to finding the kitchen thats right for you. with my house it is a small kitchen so i was limited to what i could do although i moved the electrical box out of the kitchen and closed two walls. it will seem stressful but in the end it will be all worth it when your standing in the middle of your kitchen with a glass of wine looking around

Hi, I want to re-do our kitchen sometime after the holidays. I have a lot of ideas but don't know how to make them fit, I really need an excellent designer. Are you up for it????

My dad just did his.
fully custom-ripped EVERYTHING out.
Looks awesome now.
He doesn't custom kitchens for a living though (owns his own shop)

We recently did a full kitchen reno.

This is the before:


During:

The day the cabinets arrived (they took up almost our whole living room):


And this is the after. At this point, we just had to put up the backsplash. I'll try to remember to take a photo with the backsplash tonight:

sure i would draw up a design for you, then you can bring it to where ever you want to buy your cabinets and they have to work off your layout.

We are planning on redoing our kitchen, LR & DR in the spring. I have to start to look for contractors after the holidays. I have no idea where to start.
