...getting FH to make a guestlist with you???? My list is done but every time I ask him to please sit down with me and make a list of his family and friends, he finds a reason not to (i.e. we have a lot of time, he's tired, he's busy, etc) WTH!!!

We made our list together while doing laundry one day.
Waiting for the FIL's list...well that's a whole different story.
Catch him when you're stuck waiting for something, then no excuses.

Naturally. Go over his head and talk to FILs. That's what I had to do. And I still don't have anything concrete.

I made his list, and asked him who I was missing lol. It took him about 2 months to get the list from his mom lol.

OMG!!! It took me forever and i finally gave up. I asked him for a list like 100 times and never got it. I jut put down his side of the family that i could think about then when i gave the list to his mother she said what about so and so and oh you forgot so and so. Good luck with that one

The problem is, my FIL's procrastinate with everything so I dont know if theyd be much more help! I was thinking of asking my FSIL but I'm scared she would include every single person related to them in the universe and he has a HUGGGGGEEEE fam!!!!

yeah both my fil and fh were PITAs. FH doesnt know anyone's full names and everyone's got a nickname.
u just have to make a 'date' with him and FILs to get them to help you. explain to him that you cant do it all on your own.

I can totally relate to this!!!!
FH at first was like I am only inviting my family a like 3 close friends, in total 25 ppl. I was like okay. Then one day, FH comes to me and says I think I have to invite more people. I told him okay sit with me and give me your list, he was like not right now, we have plenty of time.
It wasn't until I freaked out on him that he got his act together and began calling me like every 5 minutes to give me address updates.

I had this issue with FMIL, she had to make FH's list because he doesn't even know all of his family that she wants to invite to the wedding. It seriously took me 4 months of nagging and b!tching to finally get their guestlist from her.

Absolutely...I've been ready to mail STD's out since late October and they have yet to be mailed b/c of FH's half of the guest list. Turns out it was a blessing in disguise, since we swithced venues/dates. Now I have to order new one's and they should be mailed this month.
