Has anyone else heard this??

so...my mom and FH keep telling me I'm getting too involved in the wedding. like they think my life is consumed with it and i dont do anything else. and they think that im getting my hope up for this one day and im going to be disappointed once its over and i wont know what to do with myself.

thats just depressing!!! yeah, im involved, but it's exciting...y dont they get that??

yup and got pissed ..yelled a fewchoice words and had to understand who where and why it came from these people ..they will never be a bride or a wife or come close to finding MR RIGHT..

OH AND THEY ARE HATERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

It's Your Day!!!!! Why shouldn't you be so involved in planning it. I mean they aren't are they????? Your wedding day is not something to disappointed in . Sounds to me like someone is feeling left out.....
This is the day every Bride has dreamed of since she was little, your day will be everything you've wanted and more.

My FH thinks I am crazy that spending so much time doing internet reasearch on wedding stuff... Hey it is once a lifetime, So dont' worry about what they think and have fun planning your wedding!

BOOO...you should be excited! and involved...its your wedding!!!

And Im a firm believer in the laws of attraction and the power of putting energy towards things...if youre expecting it to be an incredible day it will be everything youve imagined. Dont let the negativity bring ya down. Not saying this is your fam situation but sometimes ppl get jealous about wedding planning.

My FH just thinks I obsessed with LIW, the wedding is OK. Tell them you lived this many years w/o doing this and you'll find something new, maybe planning a baby and see if that shuts them up!!!

lol thats funny you said that. whenever they ask me what im gonna do, i say have a baby. im sure that will never get boring.

My dad says this to me. He's like what are you going to do after the wedding-I said I will still be on LIweddings everyday!

Planning a wedding takes a lot of time!! And energy!!! And Involvement!!!

My FH is so grateful that that I am working so hard to make our special day so beautiful and perfect for us! he has told me that he would never be able to devote so much attention. My mom is also pretty excited...

It's just the haters who tend to give a hard time.

I am not going to lie..I am completely obsessed with this wedding and I dont give a cluck what anyone else thinks

My FFIL said the same thing to me. He told me not to let myself get consumed by the wedding planning because its only one day and then its over and blah, blah, blah. So I definitely hear ya! I love my FFIL but it hurt to hear because yes I'm obsessed with planning my wedding but its not ALL I talk about...Don't let it get to you sweetie! This is your day and you plan it how you want it. You are not alone in being obsessed with the wedding planning. FH told me that I've gotten so good at this, that I should become a wedding planner...LOL (personally, I'd LOVE that job)

OMG~! I hear the same thing from my mom and FH! FH keeps telling me that he's really worried about how i will do after the wedding. He's afraid i'm going to suffer from post-wedding depression or something. So i tell him not to worry because then i will be 'baby planning obsessed'! Hahaha~!

I do admit that i do get a little involved with this whole wedding thing but geez...hearing this from the people that mean the most to me...

He just doesn't understand why this is fun for me. I've been a very happy, easy going, stress free bride. I know that the wedding is just one day, but I'm enjoying the planning just as much.

I think the girls who are getting married just to have a giant wedding are the ones who are disappointed and depressed afterwards. If you had a happy, enjoyable life before the wedding you'll get right back into your routine. Only it will be better because you'll have DH with you.
