my Mom gave me a wonderful piece of advice years ago...never go to bed angry.

Some may disagree but I think the only thing it accompishes is giving you room to think. In some cases that might be good. But I personally don't think it solves the problem in the 1st place. It just postpones a resolution a few days. IMO...Communication is key not space in resolving problems. HTH.

I am the same exact way. Going to sleep angry results in sleepless nights anyway. Why lay down on a problem when you can resolve it.

I know I'm in the minority but I have to get away. And I don't believe in the don't go to bed angry thing.
It just doesn't work for me. I have a pretty bad temper and when I get that mad I cant be around the person.
I'm sure it's not healthy but I do things and say things I regret in anger so it's best for me to get away from the situation and cool down.

That said I have never left FH overnight but I have stormed out the house and not come back for hours. Sometimes it's also easier for me to talk on the phone when I'm that mad.

I'm sure everything will be fine. There were times where I thought I wouldn't come back that night and even told him I needed space but he wont let it happen. He's usually like just please come home and talk it out. Or come home and go to bed, I wont bother you.
You can FM me if you don't want to say but maybe I can help. What happened?

not really.. I like the way our schedule is set up though. Hes a fireman so works some nights during the week.. Its nice that way... we dont argue much but if we do its nice sometimes to have the night or day to think about things..

Is everything o.k.?
