Has anyone ever booked their reception hall, before doing a food tasting? I booked mines before tasting the food. However, I have heard nothing but good things from friends and coworkers.

I like to go off people's opinions also but I think it's a good idea to taste the food yourself before you book. I always heard good things about the food at my RH but I wanted to see for myself. JMO.
After you booked, did you get to taste the food?

I did the samething. Everyone says great things and I know some people who bin to this hall for holiday parties and all I hear is great things.

I booked my hall without a food tasting. But in my contract it is contigent on the food tasting in January.

yes, my hall does not offer food tastings, but i've heard great things about the food from people that have been there

My hall doesn't have food tastings, however, I had been there before... and the food was wonderful.
I ate at their restaurant twice, and the service and the food was wonderful.

I booked before tasting. I was there for our Christmas party so I know the food is delicious.

i went to a wedding 5 months prior to booking my hall and their food was soooo good. we also get a food tasting but its after you book

We booked without tasting but we have been there before and know a lot of people who have been there and I have not heard one bad thing.

I did that but thankfully when i did go for the tasting the food was delicous
