a ceremony at Bridgeview Yacht Club? How was it? Was the outdoor space 'small'? I will go in person to check out the venue, just wanted to get an opinion from you ladies first :)

Yes! My cousin got married there June 9, 2012. She was supposed to have 6pm wedding and originally was going to have her ceremony outdoors but it was drizzling so they made it inside and the way the did it was beautiful. The ceremony was very nice, followed by CH which was a nice spread. The food was good I will say that the bar was extremely crowded, they didn't have enough bartenders for the amount of people and it literally would take like 15 minutes to get to the bar, get a drink and make it back. That was not fun. The ceremony room was gorgeous- the size was too. It was overlooking the water which of course was beautiful and there was easy access to the outside area for the smokers. My cousins wedding ran behind, they waited so long to see if it was going to rain that by the time we finished with ceremony, CH and then made our way to the reception it was already like 9 and by the time they got around to asking for our dinner order and serving dinner it was closer to 11! By that point no one was really interested in eating and the food was good, but not wowing especially after waiting that long. We partied on though!
I have only ever been to her wedding there and time was definitely an issue so it sort of soured the rest of the night but I am sure there are other people who had fine experiences. I would overall say it is a beautiful location (they were doing construction all over the area so it wasn't a nice drive up) but the inside was gorgeous. If timing had not been an issue, it would have been wonderful.

I loved my friends wedding there. The food, ballroom, cake, music was all really great. However, I was not a fan of the ceremony (it was in March and was indoors). We couldn't hear or see a thing and it was really frustrating

We are having our ceremony there next August. The outside spot is spacious. I'm praying for nice weather. Of all the places we looked at (and we looked at a ton) we liked their plan B (inside alternative for ceremony) the best. Most places had gorgeous outside spots but if it rains their inside locations were kinda drab. BYC had nice outside and inside so it was perfect for us.

My husband was the BM in his best friends wedding there in Feb. Obviously it was indoors, and while the ceremony space as nice, it was extreemly cold and bc of the wind outside, it was very loud and I could not here one part of the ceremony. My husband said it was very hot standing in the front of the room and unfortunately bc of the way they had everyone stand, the suns glare had a huge impact on the pictures. None of the pictures I took came out that great and their professional pics were not what the couple expected. The reception was nice though and the food was good.

I went to look at it on Monday and fell in love as soon as I walked in...im giving my deposit for March 2014 wedding. It was the 4th place I looked at and it blew away all the others. Definitely go see it

We were just there in may for a wedding. They had the outdoor ceremony with about 300 people & there was plenty of room. The out door ceremony area is beautiful & so is the whole venue. The food was very good to. I would say it was the best food at all the wedding we've been to this year. We've been to 5 weddings so far..

Also if you like a venue on the water take a look at chateau la mer in lindenhurst. That's where I'm having my wedding next sept.. The main ballroom is totally renovated and beautiful.

I got married at Bridgeview in March and everything was fantastic. I did not have my ceremony there, but my friend Melissa did, and she said everything was fantastic. She had it indoors and her pictures were gorgeous. (she is melnmatt2013 if you want to send her a FM)
I have seen the outdoor space and it was too cold to have my wedding there, but it is not too small at all. Go check it out, you will fall in love.
