Has anyone ever had Invisalign Braces??

I am thinking of getting braces AGAIN BEFORE MY WEDDING I had them when I was in HS but my teeth shifted and I am so self consicious about pictures now

My girlfriend has them and loves them. Aside from being a little painful in the beginning they make for a great diet since you cannot eat anything while you are wearing the invisalign

I just finished them. They are sooo awesome. Really comfortable and people dont even know you are wearing them. There has been a topic on this before, try doing a search, a lot of others had good things to say too.

I have them now. I'm on aligner number 26. They are slightly painful when you change aligners every two weeks but that goes away in a day or so. I put my new ones on initially at night so they are more comfortable in the morning.

You can eat whatever you like since they are easily removed - unlike regular braces.

I carry a toothbrush and floss in my purse since I take them out for breakfast, lunch, diner & snacks during the day. I just excuse myself to the bathroom to take them out in restuarants.

I am getting them next month- also very self concious of my smile in pics- and don't want to feel that way on my wedding day (or ever really...)

My girlfriend is almost done with hers and loves it- her teeth look great!

Thought about them too! Though I know every case is different, about how long do you wear them? I remember my sister wearing the metal ones when she was an adolescent and she had to keep them on for a little over a year.

I believe most insurance companies will pay up to the same amount for invisalign as they would for the conventional braces. Thats what mine did

I got braces a second time because my teeth shifted and I wanted to have them straight for my wedding. I got them off in February.
I opted not to do the invisalign because I didn't want to have the control to take them out of my mouth if it hurt just like I did with my retainer in junior high, hence the shifting.

I got the procelain braces, hardly visible. It was great! I'm so glad I did it!

I got something VERY similar to Invisalign before my Wedding, wore them for a very short period of time- the results were awesome!!!
My orthodontist (who works w/ a lot of adults) has 2 Nassau locations & is the nicest man!

Did anyone have filing done to create spaces inbetween teeth? I had this done and my front two teeth have a slight space between them and I was wondering if this will make them move more?

I was thinking of them too. I had braces when i was 13, but my bottom teeth (only like 2 teeth) have moved. So I don't need the top at all. Does anyone know how much just the bottoms cost?
