Has anyone ever sent..

their original documents to a social security office for your name change? I am lazy and just want to mail them everything. Did you get all of your stuff back? How long did it take to get it all back?

I a nervous they are going to loose what I send them (passport/marriage license)..

I mailed them everything but they sent them back to me stating that I needed to go down to the office in order to finish my transaction.
